Gunnison Beach and Sandy Hook Rules
• Sandy Hook beaches are alcohol free. Alcohol is prohibited on all beaches.
• Clothing optional activity is limited to the designated Gunnison Beach area.
• Swimming is allowed only when lifeguards are on duty.
• Pets are restricted seasonally. Check National Park Service guidelines before bringing animals.
• Glass containers, drones, amplified speakers, fires, and grills are not permitted on ocean beaches.
• Carry in and carry out all trash.
These regulations are set by the National Park Service for Sandy Hook within Gateway National Recreation Area.
